One Small/Medium sized dog allowed. There is an additional charge of £20 for one dog. Dogs are STRICKLY NOT allowed on the furniture or upstairs on the beds. Please respect that others using the cottage may be allergic to dog hair. We ask that owners make sure to clean up after their dog in the garden. Please do not put dog waste in our bins, take to nearest dog waste bin, there are plenty on the Island.

Do not leave your dog alone in the house. They are on holiday too, so take them out with you. A medium size dog crate is available. Make sure the gates are closed, we don't want any escaping!

Towels and linen are provided, however,

please DO NOT take the towels to the beach. Tanning products stain, so we would appreciate it if you could bring your own towel if using these products.

Mersea Island is accessed by a causeway that can flood at high tide, so check the tide timetable before travelling.

We would very much appreciate it if you would let us know if there are any breakages, so we can replace the items asap before the next guests arrive. Please let us know if you have any accidents i.e. spillages or stains, so the cleaners are prepared when they come to clean.

We would be grateful if you could take your recycling i.e. glass, paper, cardboard, plastics with you when you leave.

 GENERAL RUBBISH can be left in the black bag provided in the kitchen waste bin. The cleaner will remove this at the end of your stay if you haven't already put it out for collection on a Thursday.

Please do not put dog waste in our bins and take dog waste bags to nearest dog waste bin, there are plenty on the Island.
